Sunset Boulevard, the iconic musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber, is gracing the stage of Melbourne's Princess Theatre for a strictly limited season. This grand production, starring the international recording superstar Sarah Brightman, promises a thrilling and atmospheric experience.

 

Story

The musical tells the captivating story of Norma Desmond, a faded silent movie star clinging to the dreams of a bygone era. Disillusioned by the rise of "talkies," Norma desperately seeks a return to the spotlight. When she encounters Joe Gillis, a struggling screenwriter, she becomes convinced he is the key to her comeback.

This lavish Australian production boasts stunning sets and costumes that recreate the glamour of Hollywood's Golden Age. Sarah Brightman leads a remarkable cast, bringing Norma Desmond's complex character to life.
